Sheridan's American Legion and VFW will observe Memorial Day on Monday with the annual parade, wreath-laying and Post Everlasting.

“Shag” Wilson, Sheridan's city clerk, went to Billings this afternoon to do some shopping. He plans to return tomorrow.

The time has come once again for graduation season, and high school seniors from all over the county will be wearing caps and gowns this weekend and celebrating one of the biggest milestones of their lifetime.

UPDATE- ESCAPEES APPREHENDED

At 5:15 Thursday morning, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office received notification that two male juveniles left Normative Services without authorization. An email from Lieutenant Mark Conrad with the Sheriff’s Office confirmed that both individuals have been apprehended and transferred to the Regional Juvenile Holding Facility in Casper, and are awaiting court appearances for the charge of Escape from Official Detention.

As reported earlier, the Sheridan Economic Development Task Force will be announcing the new brand and slogan for Sheridan today at the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce office on North Main Street.

The Sheridan County Commission renewed its contract with the state health department's WIC program during Tuesday's meeting and declared May as National Museum Month.
