The Bighorn National Forest will be hosting the first in a series of public meetings this Thursday, September 26th at the Johnson County Library from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

Sheridan County Commissioners say there's a mix-up on some of the property tax bills recently sent out.

Saturday night was the 6th annual VOA Bandana Barn Dance, a fund raising event for Volunteers of America Northern Rockies. Well over 300 people attended the sold out affair and President and CEO for VOA tells us what it's all about.

The Koltiska Pumpkin Patch is open and folks can head out to the Koltiska Farm on Cat Creek Road while enjoying the fall colors, and pick their own pumpkin, straight out of a pumpkin patch.

It began as a Friday night get together and fundraiser for Joey's Flyfishing Foundation, a non-profit organization geared around mentoring and ended up with a fly fishing tournament called “On the Water.” Sheridan Media's Judy Hagerott joined them out on Piney Creek.

Buffalo's Fourth Anuual Oktoberfest celebration was this past Saturday, and was another big success according to the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, organizers of the event.

With a $2.75 million grant assured from the federal Department of Labor, officials at Sheridan College will start looking at how best to use the funds to enhance the technical programs it offers to its students.

Sheridan College's President Paul Young says the construction and remodel of the college's Thorne Rider Campus Center is well under way, with plans to open the facility by summer.
