Amendments to the Sheridan County rules and regulations governing zoning for small wind energy systems were approved this week by the Sheridan County Commissioners.

Sheridan County Commissioners approved a contract with Rocky Mountain Ambulance to provide emergency medical services to Sheridan County residents. Prior to the Commissioner's approval, County Administrator Renee' Obermueller pointed out that the subsidy to RMA continues to go down.

Crews from the Ranchester Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire in northern Sheridan County at approximately 5:30 pm Tuesday. The fire is located on Ash Creek Road near the Youngs Creek Mine 13 miles north of Sheridan.
