With President Obama's announcement last week that he's implementing sweeping gun reform in the shadow of the mass murder/suicide school shootings, the discussion about mental health has taken a back seat. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy continues with part two of our series looking into the causes, risks and possible solutions for suicide - and the mental health issues behind it.

The Northeast Wyoming Sage Grouse Working Group will have their next meeting Wednesday, January 23rd beginning at the Powder River Energy office located at 200 S. Garner Lake Road in Gillette.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department announced a reminder Friday that mountain lion Hunt Area 23 closed January 16th. In a media release, the department says the area closed because the harvest limit of 20 mountain lions was reached.

The Northern Wyoming Community College District had their January meeting in Buffalo Thursday evening, and one topic of discussion was adding intercollegiate soccer to the sports available for athletes to participate in at Sheridan College.
