Former Buffalo city council member, Justin Gerard, has entered a plea of guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with intent to deliver. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy was at the Campbell County District Courthouse in Gillette Wednesday morning and has the story.

The Johnson County Commissioners have elected to buy Sheridan County's water rights interests in Lake DeSmet.

Sheridan County School District #2 trustee, Richard Bridger, has started an initiative to change the Wyoming state law regarding the age a student can legally drop out of school.

Tuesday night, there was a lot in common between Sheridan County's Republican and Democratic Headquarters. There was food, faithful party supporters, and TV's set up to watch election results.

Four trustees at-large for Sheridan Community College have been selected, according to Tuesday night's unofficial election results. Bruce Hoffman received the most votes, followed by Kress "Kati" Sherwood. The remaining two trustees are R. Scott Ludwig and Walter Wragge.

Cheyenne-native and member of the U.S. House of Representatives Cynthia Lummis has retained the seat she has held since January 2009.
