A district court judge has ruled that two people, Aaron Andrew Arnold and Nicole Lauraine Wight, will be tried together for the alleged kidnapping, beating and robbery of Arnold's ex-wife, Bearl Arnold of Sheridan.

UPDATE: No one was injured in a recent fire in Sheridan and damage was minimal. The fire was reported Friday morning at about 7:30 at an apartment building on West Fifth street near the Exeter intersection. Smoke was reportedly coming from an apartment.
