Sheridan County commissioners have extended the deadline for the county and city to reach an agreement regarding detention of municipal prisoners.

One person was cited for violating Sheridan County's burn ban after sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a grass fire in Ranchester Monday morning.

Following a three day cooperative investigation by the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, Sheridan Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Big Horn resident Todd Faass was arrested today in relation to the Saturday night shooting on Highway 335 near Big Horn.
