A keynote speaker from this year's Summer Institute on education in Sheridan is returning to Wyoming as part of a plan to implement Professional Learning Communities in all of the state's school districts.

The leaves are starting to turn and will be falling, soon. So, Sheridan police officer Ed Boone took a moment on a recent Public Pulse show to ask residents to follow city ordinances when raking the leaves.

In talking about deer management for the city of Sheridan over the past few weeks, the question came up as to who sets the quota for the animals to be killed within city limits.

Sheridan's Holy Name School will have its 80th annual Carnival and Chili Supper starting at 3 on Saturday at Whitney Commons.

The Sheridan Senior Center will host the 39th annual Golden Years Dinner on Oct. 4 at the facility on Smith Street in Sheridan.
