This past year, the non-profit Wyoming State 4-H Foundation gave approximately $188,000 in benefits to local county 4-H programs. The foundation also provided more than $23,000 in awards for state-wide contests.

The third annual Sheridan College in Johnson County Day of Poetry will be this coming Saturday, December 15.

A 30-year-old Utah man was killed in a wreck on Interstate 80 about a mile east of Cheyenne Monday morning. James C. Castleman, of South Ogden, died at the scene of the accident when his 2007 Freightliner tractor trailer went over the median, rolled over and slid into westbound lanes.
