A Medicaid Expansion Community Forum has been planned for tonight in Sheridan. As part of the forum, effects of Medicaid expansion on Sheridan and other communities in the state will be discussed by local business people and medical professionals. The forum runs from 5:30-7 tonight and will be held at the library on West Alger Street.

Sheridan Junior High School Principal Mitch Craft was the guest of a surprise assembly Monday morning after being named the National Distinguished Principal for Wyoming for 2016.

The school year that starts in September will be one of transition for schools in Wyoming.

Sheridan County School District 2 could lose more than $1.2 million in funds for the 2016-17 school year if a statewide external cost adjustment isn't solidified in Wyoming's upcoming budget bill.

Activities are in full swing, now, at the ice-skating rink in Sheridan. What was an outdoor rink at the corner of Brundage and Sheridan Avenue is now enclosed in a new building.
