According to recent Wyoming Game and Fish data, more people are buying fishing licenses in Wyoming with an increase of 6% in sales in 2015. The increase represents a growing interest in the sport of fishing as well as further budget stabilization for the Game and Fish.

From 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 17 Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation will host its fourth annual Fall Fly fishing tournament fundraiser.

At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17 Eaton’s Ranch will host the eighth annual Wolf Creek Wrangle run/hike at Eaton’s Dude Ranch in Sheridan county. Anyone who wants to hike or run at the Wrangle can register at Foot of the Bighorns or the Sport Stop.

A statue of Sheridan Fire Department Capt. Ed Green was unveiled Sunday morning following 9-11 Remembrance ceremonies at the Sheridan Fire Station.
