The Johnson County Family YMCA will be having their 33rd Annual Klondike Rush this Saturday. Touting itself as “The run 'neath the Big Horns, Wyoming's oldest and finest 10K/5K run,” the race will bring nearly 200 runners into Buffalo to participate, according to YMCA Director Mike Quast.

This weekend will wrap up the Johnson County Fair and Rodeo with the final days at the fairgrounds, but other events throughout the community will also be going on.

An opening reception was held for two local artists Thursday night at the Fulmer Public Library.

The City of Sheridan's decision to privatize ambulance service in order to balance their budget certainly has drawn the ire of many throughout the community, as 6 firefighters with Sheridan Fire-Rescue were laid off as a result of that privatization. BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol says a semi tractor-trailer crossed the center line of U.S. Highway 87 north of Billings leading to a fiery three-vehicle crash that killed three people and injured two others.

A Sheridan man accused of two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a hand gun was arraigned in 4th Judicial District Court Wednesday. Jamison Finley, 24, plead not guilty to both counts and Judge John Fenn set a tentative trial date for January 18.
