It was the 35th annual Turkey Trot Thursday morning at Kendrick Park.

A horse training couple from Sheridan found themselves in the winners circle this month.

A holiday dinner and meeting planned by the Sheridan County Historical Society will be held Thursday night, Dec. 5, at the Sheridan Center. The event begins at 5:30, with a silent auction to benefit the Sheridan County Museum.

Anyone looking for a welcoming place to spend Thanksgiving Day is invited to come to the Sheridan Palace on North Main Street in Sheridan for a turkey dinner, with all the trimmings, and a lot of people to share it with.

The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting over the noon hour Tuesday to consider an application for the City's last remaining bar and grill license. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

Over the next few weeks, there will be no shortage of Christmas themed events going on in and around Sheridan County. One that has become a favorite of the little ones is the Kalif Shrine annual Kids Christmas Party.

During the holidays, the kitchen is usually one of the busiest rooms in the house, as turkey, ham and and just about everything else is cooked, baked and prepared there.
