Helping alleviate childhood hunger in Sheridan County, the Food Group held its primary fundraiser, the TacoFest and Family Concert at Sheridan College on Saturday night.

In late February, the Sheridan County Commissioners issued a letter to each member of the Sheridan City Council along with Mayor Dave Kinskey about a possibly meeting to discuss areas of mutual interest.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill should be back on the job soon. There have been several issues raised concerning Hill's leadership and last year, a law replaced Hill with an appointed director. Earlier this year, the Wyoming Supreme Court overturned that law.

RENEW held its first-ever “Spring Escape to the Tropics” and the timing couldn't have been any better as Sheridan was hit with a another snowstorm Saturday.

The fire department was called out three times last evening to extinguish fires. Two of those were quite serious.
