Buffalo residents turned out Monday morning for the annual observances for Memorial Day.

Those attending the 29th annual Buffalo Lion's Club Lake DeSmet Fishing Derby this past Memorial Day Weekend dealt with some nasty weather during the derby, but had some success and some fun, according to Lions Club Chairman Keith Neustel, who recapped the weekend Monday afternoon.
