The Western Film Series at the Wyo Theater in Sheridan wraps up another season this afternoon with Jeremiah Johnson starring Robert Redford. Wyo Theater Board Member Gene Sturlin will be hosting today's season finale.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be hosting a seminar in Gillette this week entitled “Staying Safe in Bear, Lion and Wolf Country”. The seminar is held every year and typically rotates between Sheridan, Gillette and Buffalo as to where it's held.

Proposed legislation would set aside $950,000 of the two-year budget for the state in order to add an extra judge in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

A media release issued Friday by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, states that with the addition of recent snows the March 1st report of Sheridan County snowpack shows higher snowpack than a month ago in both the Tongue and Clear Creek drainages.
