A news release issued by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation states that four individuals were arrested in Sheridan over the weekend on drug distribution charges. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.
Last week the Sheridan City Council appointed Kristin Kelly to fill the Ward Two seat left vacant by Councilman John Bigelow's resignation at the end of March. Monday night Kelly was officially sworn into her new position.

This past legislative session, state lawmakers voted down proposed legislation that would have allowed for drug testing of welfare recipients. It appears legislators will consider a similar bill next year that would call for drug testing of those seeking unemployment benefits.
