Although there was a lightning-caused fire in the Billy Creek area over the weekend, it has been contained and mop-up has begun, according to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Buffalo Field Office (BFO).

The Sheridan Police Department continues to search for a male suspect who sexually assaulted and robbed an 82-year-old Sheridan woman at her home on North Gould Street.
