The Sheridan Police Department will establish a prescription drug take-back station in the parking lot of Walgreens on Coffeen Avenue today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A film crew from the French Discovery Channel will be in our corner of the state this weekend to shoot footage of Sheridan, Buffalo, Kaycee and other points of interest for their television show featuring not only the historic American West, but what modern life is like in the West.

U.S. Senator John Barrasso spent Friday evening in Sheridan attending the Rotary Club dinner and auction to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project. Senator Barrasso comments on the importance of the project.

In a matter of days the Historic Sheridan Inn will close its doors to the public due to a lack of funding to keep the building operational. Sheridan Heritage Center President Jake Brooks says that they had no other option but to close the Inn.
