The City of Sheridan adopted its first Entryway Corridor ordinance in 2003 in response to concerns over big box development and recommendations of the Vision 2020 Growth Management Plan.

The Mayo Clinic recently announced the Billings Clinic as the newest member of its Mayo Clinic Care Network. The Billings Clinic is the first health system in the state of Montana to have passed Mayo's rigorous review process and been selected as a member of the network.
