The new Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Building at the Brinton Museum was described as “a gift to Wyoming” by Governor Matt Mead.

Sheridan County is again under a National Weather Service hazardous weather outlook as of shortly after 3:30 this morning.

Sheridan County commissioners will not declare Sheridan County a disaster area because of high water and flooding from storms that moved through the area the first two weeks of the month.

Sheridan County School District 2 trustees have accepted $140,000 in grants to benefit the district's Graduation Counts program at Sheridan High School.

UPDATE: No decision had been made as of Friday about cutting Sheridan County employees from the payroll due to a shortfall of $800,000 in next year’s budget.

The Wyoming State Games pickleball tournament will be played this weekend in Sheridan, rather than in Casper. Arlie Johnson says that’s because about 80 players live in this area.
