The Downtown Sheridan Association has been selected as an accredited member of the National Main Street Program sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. DSA Director, Stacie Coe, said the accreditation is tough, but it offers big benefits.

Ward 1 Sheridan City Councilwoman Shelleen Smith had her initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Monday for the charge of Driving Under the Influence. Smith did not actually appear in Court, as a written not guilty plea was submitted to the Court by her attorney.
