A grant application to receive state funds to improve the air quality in Sheridan County was approved this week by the county commissioners. They also approved a change in a roadway on the east side of Sheridan and vacated alleyways in the Downer Addition. Leslie Stratmoen has the details.

Protecting yourself against fraud and learning how to publish a book are both classes coming up this month at the county library in Sheridan.

A grant application for a road project and intents to alter a county road and vacate alleys were approved Tuesday by the Sheridan County Commission.

Sheridan County sheriff's deputies are conducting a joint investigation with the U.S. Forest Service to find the person or persons responsible for the Sheep Creek fire.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital administrators will move forward with plans that will add 61 new parking spaces on the hospital's east side, and expand the parking area for the Northern Wyoming Mental Health Center at the corner of West Fifth Street and Highland Avenue.
