The jury in the case of the State of Wyoming vs. Richard Wilkerson returned a verdict of “guilty” of second degree murder at roughly 9pm Saturday night.

Wilkerson was found guilty of killing 45 year-old Brian Newman in an altercation at the Century Club in Buffalo last September.

Wyoming Senators, Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, both visited Sheridan Saturday.

Closing arguments in the murder trial of Richard Wilkerson will be heard Saturday morning in Johnson County District Court.
