Wyoming's 32nd Governor, Matt Mead gave his “State of the State” address Wednesday to a joint session of the Legislature in Cheyenne. Early in his address, Mead said that he will stay true to his platform that he outlined during his campaign.

Fluoridating our local public water supply has taken a new twist, as the federal government recently revised levels recommended to be added to public drinking water. Previously, recommendations ranged from .7 parts per million (ppm) to 1.2 ppm.

Tuesday at noon marked the official opening of the 61st Wyoming Legislative Session in Cheyenne. Representative Rosie Berger phoned Sheridan Media this morning and told us.

The State proficiency test known as PAWS has been mired in controversy since its inception several years ago.

As the debate over whether to repeal National Health Care Reform continues, pieces of that reform continue to fall into place in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Wilderness Association and the Powder Pass Nordic Skiers and Shoers will co-host a chili feed and Backcountry Ski and Snowshoe event this Saturday, January 15th. It is free and open to the public, but donations are gladly accepted.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court is wading into a fight between Wyoming and Montana over how they share water from a river system. Montana says Wyoming is taking too much water from the Tongue and Powder rivers in violation of a 1950 agreement.
