With the likelihood of flooding in Wyoming during the coming months, the Wyoming Department of Health wanted to remind residents to be mindful of potential flood-related health concerns.

Local law enforcement and the Community Resource Center are teaming up for the Second Annual Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday, April 30th.

And they're off! The Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall will once again be the site of what has become one of the most anticipated fundraising events of the year.

The Wyoming Wilderness Association has announced 18 scheduled hikes and scenic outings throughout Wyoming this summer. Six of those are in the Rock Creek area of the Big Horn National Forest.

The Daniels Fund has announced that 24 high school seniors from around Wyoming have received scholarships that will enable them to attend the college or university of their choice. Of the 24 scholars announced, three are from Sheridan High School; Jace Rader, Brittny Ross and Kelsie Tarver.

Coming up Saturday, April 30th at the Kaycee Library will be a presentation on Jeremiah Johnson.

Archivist and anthropologist Nathan Bender will discuss the life, legends and myths surrounding this mountain man that is forever a part of the history and lore of the Rocky Mountain region.

The Good Friday storm lifted in time for the annual Easter Egg Eggstravaganza, held Saturday morning at Kendrick Park.

The spring 2011 class of the S.C.O.P.E. program graduated during a ceremony at Sheridan College on April 22nd.
