The Sheridan Game and Fish Department's Warren Mischke has been recognized by his co-workers with a “Peer Recognition Award” for his work with kids in the community and the overall positive impact he has on the people he works with.

Thursday night the conference rooms at the Sheridan Holiday Inn took on the sparkle and glitter of Christmas for the nineteenth annual Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for Special Olympics.

The Sheridan Artists Guild kicked off the holiday season with two art shows, one at Sheridan Fulmer Library and the other at the Main Street Gallery of Sheridan College.

DUALZORB, a product manufactured by LBI Renewable of Buffalo was recently listed as one of 21 products to meet Environmental Protection Agency standards for use in oil spill response.

There are numerous events going on Friday and Saturday in Buffalo to kick off the Christmas Holiday Season, but the two main events will happen Saturday afternoon and evening.

This Saturday and Saturday, December 12, St. Luke's lutheran Church in Buffalo will be the site for the 15th Annual Christmas Kids' Shop.

In addition to the chili feed and the parade downtown this weekend, there are numerous other happenings going on to help welcome in the Christmas Holiday.
The Buffalo Senior Center will offer their annual Holiday Bazaar Friday and Saturday.
