National Future Farmers of America week is February 18th to the 25th and the local John B. Kendrick FFA Chapter will be doing a number of events in the Sheridan community to raise awareness of what they do.

The Ucross Foundation Art Gallery presents a new exhibit at the Bid Red in Ucross entitled, “Making Tracks” by Missoula, Montana photographer Elizabeth Stone.
There was an opening artist reception Saturday at the gallery located at 30 Big Red Lane in Ucross.

The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order denying Wyoming’s petition for a rehearing en banc in the Roadless Rule case. By doing so, the Court upheld its reversal of a decision by Judge Clarence Brimmer.

Though a grant was initially denied to move the Free Clinic of Sheridan County into the current Sheridan County Public Health, both groups believe the move is important enough to resubmit an application for Community Block Grant Development funds.

The Sheridan County Historical Society announced that they've received a $13,450 grant from the Homer A. and Mildred S. Scott Foundation that will be matched by museum supporters, totaling $26,900.
