Field Representatives for US Senators John Barrasso and Michael Enzi and Congressman Cynthia Lummis will be in Buffalo Tuesday morning to meet with their constituents in the area to answer questions and forward concerns back to Washington, DC.

Elected officials representing Dayton, Ranchester, Clearmont, Sheridan and Sheridan County met Monday afternoon to discuss renewing the Capital Facilities Tax this November. In 2009, Sheridan County voters passed the Cap Tax with almost 70 percent of the vote in favor of the renewal.

The trial of Richard Wilkerson began Monday with the selection and seating of a jury, which took most of the day to complete, according to officials at the Johnson County Judicial Center.

The trial itself, with opening arguments, is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning in Johnson County District Court.
