It just keeps getting better and better each year. This past weekend was the 37th annual Dayton Days. Beginning with the Cow Pie Classic and ending with the traditional Firefighter Water Fight, it was a family-friendly weekend chock full of events for all ages.
The 37th annual Dayton Days will begin this Friday and will run through Sunday. The event that typically kicks off Dayton Days is the cow pie classic, which has been moved to Friday this year, although it still remains the first event of Dayton Days.
Sheridan County Fire Warden Bill Biastoch and the six county fire districts have requested the Board of County Commissioners place fire restrictions in effect. The effective date of the restrictions will be July 30 at 12:01 a.m., following approval of the fire restriction resolution.
