The historic community hall in the town of Dayton will be receiving a new roof this month, thanks to the diligent fundraising efforts of the Dayton Benefit Club.

Musician Gary Small of Sheridan and the Coyote Brothers will be playing for this weekend’s Dayton Days.

They’ve had their doors open for a year now and the husband and wife team of Elaine Stevens and Craig Boheler have made Dayton their home and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott brings us their story.

Teachers and administrators from across the state are in Sheridan this week for a special event hosted by Sheridan County School District 2. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair has the story on one group of educators.

A gathering that celebrates small town living has been planned for this weekend in the town of Dayton.

Filing will open next month for elections in five Sheridan County fire districts.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the slopes of the old Antelope Butte Ski Area, located west of Dayton on US-14, were filled with close to 800 people who attended the Second Annual Antelope Butte Summer Festival.
