Johnson County Commissioner Jim Hicks attended his last meeting Tuesday afternoon, and before adjourning for the day, Chairman Bill Novotny spoke to those present, thanking Hicks for his service over the last four years and specifically to his tutelage of “two young commissioners” over the last two years.

Action taken by Sheridan County commissioners Tuesday morning, in tabling a contract with Christi Rolston, has been declared moot.
