Vendors and those that braved the wet weather stuck it out as long as they could, but when the drizzle turned into a downpour, it was time to pack it up and head for home.

A tradition that goes back 40 years, Sunday, members of the Story Woman’s Club served up a turkey dinner with all the fixin's. The event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the group.

Buffalo teacher Amy Pierson has been named as the Wyoming Teacher of the Year for 2016.

Pierson is a fourth grade teacher at Cloud Peak Elementary School in Buffalo.

Manmay La Kay, a folk group from the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean, spent the latter part of last week in Buffalo entertaining students, senior citizens, and a crowd at the American Legion for a dance Saturday night.

Several musical artists from across the country and beyond were in Sheridan over the weekend to perform in the showcase presented by the Wyoming Arts Alliance.

A former vice president of the United States and three of the state’s top five elected officials attended the Republican Reagan Day Dinner fundraiser Saturday night in Sheridan.

Songstress Lauren Sheehan of Portland, Oregon presented her Roots Americana program today for the Wyoming Arts Alliance showcase in Sheridan. Stay tuned to hear her story.
