Friday night the Buffalo Senior Center will be having its annual Pancake Supper Fundraiser.
Joe Michel, Chairman of the Senior Center's Advisory Council, said the center usually has a monthly carry-in supper, but this month the pancake supper will take its place.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers made quite a unique seizure this week just outside of Cheyenne on Highway 80. Troopers seized approximately $5.7 million in counterfeit handbags, shoes and other clothing during a routine commercial vehicle inspection.

Legislation could change the formula the state uses to calculate cost of living adjustment for school districts. Cost of living determines how school districts are funded each year to pay teachers, and the change could mean cuts for 31 districts across the state, including Sheridan County School District 1.

Sheridan County School District 1 board of trustees met for their regular meeting Tuesday night in Big Horn.

Sheridan Community Land Trust announced Monday the protection of a donated conservation easement: the Headwaters of McCormick Creek, a ranch donated by Charlie Hart of the Big Horn area.

At their meeting Tuesday evening, Buffalo's City Council awarded the bid for engineering of the high-pressure water supply line to the city's schools to Nelson Engineering of Buffalo.

This Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds will be a benefit for Buffalo's Cynda Robinson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.

The Buffalo/Johnson County Justice Center Joint Powers Board had their meeting Tuesday afternoon and opened bids for work to fix problems at the old jail.
The building will be renovated and repaired to possibly be used by Volunteers of America or other entities for office space.
