The Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) will offer a Hunter Education Internet Field Day on Wednesday, October 2nd from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at the Buffalo Outdoor Shooting Site (Buffalo Trap Club) east of Buffalo on Stockyard Road.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) will be offered to those interested from the public next Monday and Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish Hall in Buffalo, beginning at 4:30pm both days.

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their meeting this week, approved Employment Requests from their Administrators.

Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming will be presenting two events on Monday, September 16th in Buffalo to help bring awareness of suicide and how to prevent it to the community.

The Wyoming Legislature's Joint Revenue Interim Committee will be meeting Thursday and Friday in Buffalo and will be discussing a number of topics and deciding which, if any, they may bring to the full Legislature early in 2014.

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their meeting this week, discussed a request from the Johnson County Healthcare Center to convey a portion of land owned by the district to the hospital.

Toby Rhoades, Buffalo City Building Inspector, reported to the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting that he received the ISO (Insurance Service Office) Report for his office and the city, and that the city scored well, but there was still room for improvement.

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees voted to move ahead with the process to transfer ownership of the old Clear Creek School building from the district to the city of Buffalo.
