Veterans Affairs hospitals across the country are striving to become leaders in the medical field, and the Sheridan facility is no exception.

The Johnson County Commissioners awarded a contract for maintenance of the heating and air conditioning systems at both the new jail and court complex to Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning of Buffalo.

The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo has traditionally closed during the Winter months because of lower numbers of visitors and to give employees a chance to complete needed maintenance, change exhibits and perform other tasks.

The Cody Enterprise is reporting that a man is being held after being arrested in Bozeman, Montana in connection with the October 8th abduction of an 11-year old Cody girl.

Anonymous sources cited by the newspaper said the man was arrested and is being interviewed today by authorities.
