Liz Cheney attended the Sheridan County Republican Party's Reagan Days dinner to help the party pull together to raise funds for the upcoming election.

Starting the day off will be the Horse Show beginning at 8am.
4-H Interview judging begins at 8:30.
Open Class Exhibit Judging starts at 9am.
Cat judging starts at 9 o'clock.

The 2012 Johnson County Fair begins today at the fairgrounds in Buffalo and will continue through this week, wrapping up next Sunday, August 5th.

Fabric and Fashion judging began on Friday but competitions start today with the Dog Show at 8am.

A two-day workshop in Sheridan called Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, known by the acronym ASIST, is coming to Sheridan Sept. 14 and 15.

This month's statistics from the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services report Sheridan's unemployment rate at 6.3 percent.
