The Buffalo City Council, at their meeting Tuesday night, denied a request from the Johnson County Commissioners to waive the fees associated with the proposed new recycling center which the county is funding.
A media release Monday evening from WyDOT's Region 4 Public Information Specialist, Ronda Holwell, indicates that U.S. 14 remains closed about 31.5 miles east of Greybull at about 100 feet of the road way.
The Johnson County Recreation District Board denied a funding request from the group responsible for trying to bring a new sports complex to the city, but that hasn't killed the project, according to Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery, who is helping the group organize, get approved and acquire funding for the project.
A one-vehicle accident late Saturday night claimed the life of the driver, 21-year old Kristopher R. Graham of Buffalo. According to Buffalo Police Chief Mike Chapman, a call came in to the dispatch center about 11:17 pm of a vehicle upside down in Clear Creek in the vicinity of the Busy Bee Cafe in downtown Buffalo.
