(Updated 7:55 am) -- LODGE GRASS, Mont. (AP) - The FBI says it's still trying to piece together what led to the fatal shooting of three people on Montana's Crow Reservation after the arrest of the suspected gunman Wednesday night in Washington state.

The Buffalo City Council had a heated discussion at their meeting Tuesday concerning a Resolution brought before the council by Mayor Randy Dyess on a water line project in the North and Northwest sections of the city.

Rick Durfee, caretaker at the Mikesell/Potts Recreation Area at Lake DeSmet, gave a season-end report to the county commissioners at their Tuesday meeting, saying it was a “great year” for the county-owned facility.
