The annual Vespers Program was held Sunday evening at Buffalo High School, with a number of local groups and individuals volunteering their time and talents to celebrate the Christmas Holiday and to raise money for local music scholarships.

The Buffalo community turned out to help those in need again this Holiday season, as they do every year, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis.

Buffalo High School students will get into the Christmas Spirit of giving this year, thanks to a new idea to be implemented this week called “Holiday Helpers.”

Sheridan College in Johnson County hosted this month's Business After Hours on Friday, in conjunction with local artist Lana Wing, who had her photography work on display.

The Buffalo City Council approved a request from the Recycling Board to reallocate funds away from curb and gutter to pay for concrete in the area surrounding the new recycling center.
