Johnson County's Elected Officials: clerk of District Court, county attorney, county clerk, assessor and the sheriff, all gave reports on their offices and what the public can expect from them this year at a luncheon hosted by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.

The Johnson County Commissioners approved the bid from Oxford, Inc. for the product for the CMAQ, or Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program.

Johnson County's Commissioners discussed access to public lands known as the “Big 5” area in Northern Johnson County.
The public lands are landlocked by private land and now there is a push on to get public access to the lands through a county-owned easement on the north end of the public lands.

Johnson County School District One tentatively has a new Superintendent after the Board of Trustees made the decision to extend an offer to one of the candidates after a lengthy executive session at Monday night's meeting.
