Richard Wilkerson entered a plea of “not guilty” in his arraignment hearing in Johnson County District Court Wednesday afternoon to the charge of second degree murder, stemming from the death of 45 year-old Brian Newman in a Buffalo bar earlier this year.

At their regular meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees got updates from District Business Manager Matt Ramey on the new school crossing signs on South Main Street and the status of construction at the new Cloud Peak School.
