As mentioned by Sheridan Media News yesterday, the Sheridan area has a new warden working for the Game and Fish.

At their meeting last week, the Johnson County Commissioners voted to use left over Title III funds for reimbursement of expenses for work associated with fire and emergency services performed on Federal lands.

A film crew from the TV network Destination America is in Buffalo this week to film at the Occidental and possibly other locations for a new show called “Ghost Town Gold,” which will debut on the network in 2013.

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board Of Trustees learned that six persons have filed for five open seats on the school board for the General Election coming in November.

A new wildfire that started in the Teton Wilderness in western Wyoming over the weekend has grown to about 4,000 acres.
