Representatives of the the Board of Cooperative Higher Educational Services (BOCHES) and both the Johnson and Campbell County School Districts gave presentations to the three Sheridan County Districts, that are considering joining the group.

The three parcels had recently been discovered to belong to the county, which had acquired them because of unpaid back taxes.
