Johnson County Prosecuting Attorney Kenneth DeCock's office released a statement last Saturday, giving his thoughts on Michael Lindstrom being found guilty on numerous counts in his trial last week.

The annual contract between the county and Wyoming Game and Fish to provide maintenance on the boat ramps and restrooms at the Mikesell-Potts Recreation Area was tabled until January, to give Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago more time to discuss some wording changes in the contract with the Game and Fish.

It is now illegal for cat owners to allow their felines to run at large within the city limits of Buffalo, or for residents to keep, maintain and feed hogs, pigs or roosters. The city council approved the code changes pertaining to animal regulations this week.

A jury in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Buffalo on Thursday found Michael Lindstrom guilty of three counts of first degree sexual abuse of a minor; three counts of second degree sexual abuse of a minor; two counts of sexual assault; and two counts of aggravated assault.

At a special meeting this week, representatives of the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) and States West Engineering gave a report to the Buffalo City Council on the proposed Bull Creek Dam and Reservoir.

The Johnson County Planning and Zoning Commission is in a holding pattern at the moment, awaiting more public comment on the proposed county zoning regulations.
They have set a deadline of today, December 20th, for the public to submit their comments.
