The seventh annual Buffalo Oktoberfest, organized and put on by the Chamber of Commerce, happened Saturday in Crazy Woman Square, and featured some fun and interesting events along with the celebration of beers and the home brewing contest.

The African Children's Choir (ACC) performed in Buffalo Friday night to a large and appreciative crowd at the Summit Church.

Buffalo Building Inspector Toby Rhoades, in his report to the city council at their last regular meeting, reported that the Planning and Zoning Commission will have two items on their upcoming meeting agenda.

The 7th Annual Buffalo Oktoberfest, presented by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce and sponsored in part by Sheridan Media, will be happening today in downtown Buffalo.

Parents of students from Midwest School who want their kids to attend classes in Kaycee instead of Casper, approached the Johnson County School Board for help at a recent meeting.

During their last regular meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners were scheduled to discuss a pending lease agreement between themselves and the state on the lands where the County Youth Camp is located in the Bighorn Mountains.

This will be the last official weekend of summer, as fall begins on September 22nd, but it will be a busy one in Buffalo, with plenty of happenings to take part in.
