Johnson County's Commissioners agreed to have the chairman sign the contract for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality improvement program (CMAQ) for 2016.

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees are looking at updating policy concerning social media and its use by faculty and students within the district, to better protect the district and its employees, but especially to protect the students.

The Buffalo City Council approved a request by the Buffalo Police Department to apply for a grant for funding DUI and speed enforcement.

Johnson County's Commissioners approved, after some discussion and input from the county attorney, a modified maintenance and service agreement with Cummins Rocky Mountain of Gillette to provide those services to generators at the county airport. The contract is for $1,104.95 per year.

A benefit chili feed and dance to support the renovation and use of the Kearney Community Hall will be held Saturday, February 28th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds' Community Building.
