It’s time now to take a look back at some of the top stories from last week with the Sheridan Media Week In Review:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the slopes of the old Antelope Butte Ski Area, located west of Dayton on US-14, were filled with close to 800 people who attended the Second Annual Antelope Butte Summer Festival.

Sunday night the parking lot of the Holiday Inn in Sheridan was host to almost 50 classic cars from around the world. The cars are in Sheridan as part of the “2nd Trans-America Challenge” put on by the Endurance Rally Association.

Next stop, Atlantic City, New Jersey, to represent Wyoming in the Miss America Beauty Pageant. Mikaela Shaw from Laramie was crowned Miss Wyoming Saturday night during the Miss Wyoming Scholarship Program Pageant held at the WYO Theater.

Local Christian ministry organization K-Life is hosting an event that will feature a presentation by Tim Tebow, professional football player and inspirational speaker, at Sheridan High School on April 15th.

Last weekend's Buffalo Oktoberfest was again a big hit with the brew crowd who enjoyed a number of home-made beers and voted for their favorites.

There were two styles of porter entered in this year's contest and the winner was Mike Sullivan's Pegleg's Caramel Porter.

Sheridan's Hoop Jam has been moved to the Sheridan High School and Sheridan Junior High School gymnasiums.

Adult teams will be playing at the Jr. High and kids' teams will play at the High School.
