Track / Soccer results / Troopers and Jets rained out / Rockies head to LA tomorrow

TRACK AND FIELD - The Broncs and Lady Broncs along with Big Horn and Tongue River track and field teams head into the post season.

Results from weekend track and field can be found on the Sports page at sheridanmedia.com

This week Sheridan high school with host 1-A, 2-A and 4-A East regional track the meet will be all day Friday and Saturday.

Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers. And he says the regional track meet is built for spectators.

Bronc Lady Bronc Soccer

The Lady Broncs lose at Cheyenne East 1-0 Friday evening while the Broncs and T-Birds played to a scoreless draw.

Both teams play at Cheyenne Central today.

May 7th

Track, Golf and Soccer today / Tennis Saturday and Baseball Sunday

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will be in Gillette today for the Camel invitational.

This is the final meet before regional track and Sheridan high school head coach Art Bauers says overall it's been a good season.

And now with Regionals a week away and state in two weeks Bauers says they will start to taper their workouts.

May 6th

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer in Cheyenne this weekend / Rockies drop two against Arizona

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams this week play in Cheyenne at East and Central.

The Broncs sit on top of the east conference standings with three games to play, Head coach Matt Johnson says they put themselves in a good position but still have three big matches to play.

The Broncs have been impressive this spring scoring a lot of goals and Johnson says the Bronc defense has been equally impressive.

KGA Membership fee of $15.00 is due day of tournament to enter tournament.

Local track and field

The District Track meet for Saturday, May 9 at Tongue River has been rescheduled due to weather to Friday, May 8, 2015.

Students need to wear their warm-up uniform to Mass at 8:00 and leave immediately after Mass.

The meet starts at 10:00AM on the Tongue River track field.

May 5th

Troopers and Jets get back into action this weekend / Rockies and D-Backs play two today

TROOPERS / JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are scheduled to open their baseball season Sunday weather permitting. The first games of the season where rained out and the prospect for that happening again this week is a very good possibility.

Head coach Ben Phillips says the players are ready to get the season started.

And he says to stay focused they are practicing with more creativity.

May 4th

Youth Soccer Champs

The 2015 Stockman Bank Magic City Classic Tournament U14 Team CHAMPIONS from this past weekend. They beat Magic City 3-2 in the Championship match.
