LOOKING AHEAD TO THE FINAL WEEK OF THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL REGULAR SEASON

Big Horn goes for win #8 Friday afternoon

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams are 7-0 and will host Newcastle Friday as they go for an unbeaten regular season Head coach Bert Dow says the Rams are leaving nothing to chance as the expect a good Newcastle team to give them a good test Friday.

Dow says he's been impressed with several things about the rams this year especially after a fast start to the season.

THE SHERIDAN COUNTY WEEKEND SPORTS WRAP-UP

Dylan Morin was 3rd at the East regionals

BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran the east regional meet in Cheyenne the Lady Broncs were 4th and the Broncs 5th. Lauren Buyan was the top Lady Bronc finisher in 13th place.

The Broncs had two runners in the top ten Dylan Morin was 3rd and Micheal Rotellini was 10th.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 4th at their regional in Gillette now they10 days to prepare for the state championships that will get underway next Thursday October 28th in Gillette.

October 16th

Rams Roll, While the Broncs Lose a Tough One on the Road

The Sheridan Broncs came up a little bit short on the road Friday night in a tough hard fought game against Cheyenne Central. The final from Cheyenne was Central 28, the Broncs 21. The Broncs will wrap up their regular season with a home game next Friday night against Casper Natrona.

The Big Horn Rams continue to dominate the class 2A, as they crushed the Tongue River Eagles Friday afternoon in Dayton 38-7. The Rams will continue their march toward a perfect season with their regular season finale set for next Friday afternoon against Newcastle.

Big Horn took the "PINK" volleyball game against Tongue River, today the "PINK BOWL" will be played

PINK BOWL - The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles meet in their annual rivalry game in Dayton this afternoon. kickoff is scheduled for 1:00. That will be our first game today on AM 14-10 KWYO Ron Richter will have the play by play.

BRONC FOOTBALL - Game two will have the Sheridan Broncs at Cheyenne Central tonight the Broncs are fighting for home field advantage in the playoffs which begin in two weeks and Cheyenne Central is trying to get a tough loss against Green River where they blew a two touchdown lead in the 4th quarter.

Week Eight is big for the Bronc football team

BRONC FOOTBALL - Tomorrow the Sheridan Broncs play at Cheyenne Central with playoff position on the line if the Broncs win it they would secure the home field advantage through the playoffs Head coach Don Julian says there is a lot on the line tomorrow night.

Cheyenne Central is 3-4 overall but have had two melt downs that have cost them two victories and Julian says Central is a dangerous team.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL TIME CHANGE (SATURDAY)

The Lady Bronc volleyball game times at Cheyenne Central this Saturday have been changed to one hour earlier. Soph start at 10, JV at 11, and Var at 12 noon.

The Bronc and Lady Broncs cross country runners compete in regional races Friday

SHS Cross Country coach Art Bauers takes his runners to Cheyenne Friday

BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams have had a great fall season and will run at their regional meet in Cheyenne Friday.

Head coach Art Bauers says the runners have put in the hard work and have been rewarded with a good regular season and now they kick into even higher gear getting ready for the last two races of the year.

THE SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL TEAMS SEE PRESEASON ACTION THIS WEEK

SC HOOPS OPEN EXHIBITION PLAY THIS WEEK

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals have four returners from last year's region nine runner up Head coach Steve Smiley has also welcomed in a talented freshmen class that are sure to entertain fans this season.

The Generals will be in Spearfish, South Dakota Sunday for scrimmages against Black Hills state, the South Dakota school of mines and Dickinson state from North Dakota.

UW club hockey will play in Gillette Friday / Saturday (Two former Sheridan Hawks are on the Wyoming roster)

The University of Wyoming Cowboys hockey team will open their season in Gillette Friday at 7 pm and will play a second game on Saturday at 5 pm.

The Gillette Hockey Association will present two University of Wyoming games against the Montana State University Hell Cats at the Wyoming Center’s Spirit Hall Ice Arena. Among the players are Sheridan’s Craig Luplow and Mitch Nelson. This is Craig’s third year of varsity play and Mitch’s second; Mitch was the team’s leading scorer last season.

Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the Spirit Hall Ice Arena at the Cam-plex.
