STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND IS HERE

Don Julian takes the Broncs to their 2nd straight 4-A title game Saturday

WYOMING STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND - Two of the five Wyoming high school football state championship games will be played in Laramie this afternoon.

Little Snake River plays Hanna-Elk Mountain in the 6-Man game at noon. The Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A championship at 3:00.

2-A STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - The Big Horn Rams play Thermopolis tomorrow morning at 10:00 in the 2-A final.

WOODWARD SIGNS WITH WYOMING AND STATE FOOTBALL STARTS TOMORROW

Lady Bronc Senior Kayla Woodward

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - Sheridan high school senior Kayla Woodward signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to become a Wyoming Cowgirl in the 2011-2012 season.

Woodward has been on the Lady Bronc varsity roster since her freshmen season and the last two years was named to the 4-A All-state team she talks about the recruiting process and ultimately deciding on the University of Wyoming, older brother Austin is currently a freshmen on the Wyoming football team.

THE SHERIDAN COLLEGE GENERALS OPEN 2010-11 SEASON WITH A BLOW-OUT VICTORY

The Sheridan college Generals opened the 2010-11 season with a big North Sub-region road win at Little Big Horn Community college Tuesday night the Generals routed the Rams 116-47.

The Generals host a two day tournament Friday and Saturday at the Hoffman dome. Games Friday will be at 5:30 and 7:30 and Saturday at 3:00 and 5:00.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - The Wyoming state football championships will be played in Laramie Friday and Saturday there will be two games Friday with Snake River playing Hanna-Elk Mountain in the 6-Man game at noon.

The Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A game at 3:00.

There will be three games Saturday starting with the Big Horn Rams playing Thermopolis at 10:00.

The 1-A final will kickoff at 1:00 and will have Cokeville against Lusk followed by the Sheridan Broncs and Natrona county Mustangs at 4:00.

The Sheridan college Generals basketball team opens the 2010-11 season tonight

SHERIDAN COLLEGE GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals basketball team will open their season tonight with a road game up to Little Big Horn Community college.

Generals Head coach Steve Smiley says after five weeks of practice it's nice to finally have a game to play. And what will the Head coach be looking for in his team tonight.

The Broncs, Rams and Bison advance to the Wyoming state football championships

Alex Welch heads to the endzone as the broncs advance to the 4-A state title game

SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs blew out Cheyenne East 46-12 Friday night to advance to the 4-A state title game. The Broncs piled up over 500 yards of total offense to get back into the state championship game for the 2nd straight year.

Head coach Don Julian says they got their running game rolling early and that was huge factor in the outcome.

The Broncs earned the right to defend their 2009 state championship Julian says the players and coaches teamed together to get back into the state title game.

BRONCS AND BISON ADVANCE IN THE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

BRONC SEMI FINAL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs blew out Cheyenne East 46-12 Friday night to advance to the 4-A state title game.

The Broncs earned the right to defend their 2009 state championship piling up over 500 yards of offense they had three touchdown runs over 60 yards with two coming for Alex Welch.

The Broncs will play the winner of today's game with Gillette at Natrona county.

The 4-A state championship will be played at War Memorial stadium in Laramie at 4:00 next Saturday. we will broadcast the game live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.
