LADY BRONCS GET THE JOB DONE IN GILLETTE

AND THE FINAL IS...........................

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs won in Gillette for the first time in 19 years Friday night holding off a late Camel rally for a 72-69 win. Head coach Derek Bissitt says they knew it was going to be as tough night.

The Lady Broncs had a seven point lead but the Camels kept the pressure on making the Lady Broncs hit free throws to preserve the win and Bissitt says they made some big plays in the game's closing minute.

Bison Sports Weekend Wrap

The Buffalo Bison sports teams competed well again this past weekend, but results were mixed.
The basketball teams had just one game each this weekend as both teams traveled to Douglas to take on the Bearcats and Lady Bearcats.

The Elks NW District Hoop Shoot

Jan. 29, 2011 at the Sheridan College Golden Dome. The
participants were winners of their local Hoop Shoots from
the Cody, Powell, Greybull, Worland, and Sheridan Elks
Lodges.

Two kids representing the Sheridan Lodge finished first and
the other four all placed second.

BRONCS LOSE TO GILLETTE, LADIES TAKE CENTER STAGE TONIGHT

BRONC BASKETBALL - A battle of 4-A number three against number two took place last night at Sheridan high school as the Broncs hosted Gillette. The Camels broke open a tight game and won 54-41. The Broncs fall to 11-4 and 2-1 in conference play they are off until a road trip next week to Cheyenne.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs play in Gillette tonight in a game pitting number one against number two.

BRONCS / CAMELS TONIGHT AT SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL

Sr. Raith Durham leads the Broncs into action tonight against Gillette

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs are 11-3 and 2-0 in conference they are ranked #3 this week and host #2 Gillette tonight for the early conference lead.

The Broncs took two on the road last week to open conference play while the Camels split meaning it's a big early season game for the conference title race Broncs Head coach Mike Ibach.

The Broncs have won ten of their last eleven games and have been playing well for the last several weeks.

BRONC WRESTLERS DUAL AND HAVE CONFERENCE MATCHES THIS WEEKEND

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers lost a dual at Montana powerhouse Billings Skyview last night the Falcons took the dual 54-27 the Broncs did win six matches.

Winners included Jay Sandvig at 135, Trevor Goss at 140, Andrew Lobach at 145, Lucas Giesey at 171 and Alex Marty at Hwt.

Next up for the Broncs will be a dual with Laramie in Gillette Friday. They host the Cheyenne schools Saturday those matches will start at noon at Sheridan high school.
