The #1 ranked Sheridan Lady Broncs notched another win last night at Sheridan High School by defeating Cheyenne East 69 to 47. The Lady Broncs will host Cheyenne Central at 11:45 today. You can catch the action on 95.9 FM. The Broncs needed all four quarters to get the win on the road last night against Cheyenne East, as they pulled out the victory with just seconds left and won 46 to 42. The Broncs will play at Cheyenne Central today at 1:30. You can catch all the action love an AM 1410 KWYO.

THE BRONCS / LADY BRONCS FACE CHEYENNE EAST / CENTRA;L

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs host games with Cheyenne East tonight and Cheyenne Central tomorrow game times have changed the JV's play tonight at 5:00 with the varsity game at 6:45.

Tomorrow the JV's go at 10:00 and the varsity at 11:45. Both games will be broadcast live on our sister station 95.9 FM.

The Lady Broncs are 15-0 and 3-0 in conference play and are coming off their closest victory of the year winning by three in Gillette.

Bison Weekend Sports Preview

Coming up this weekend, the Bison basketball teams will have important conference games against Wheatland and Torrington.
The Lady Bison will be without one of their starters and will have another hobbled for the last month of the season.

Bison swimmers recap, preview

The Buffalo Bison swim team had another great weekend taking three of four duals at Riverton and finishing second to the Tigers in Lander.

BRONC WRESTLERS COMPETE AT THE ANNUAL "RON THON" INVITE

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers open the "Ron Thon" invitational tournament in Riverton tomorrow Head coach Terry Burgess says the "Thon" is the biggest and toughest tournament in Wyoming.

And with the regular season winding down they have a lot of hard work ahead.

They close out the regular season a week from today with a dual at gillette.

The 4-A East regional will be held in Cheyenne with the state championships beginning Friday February 25th in Casper.

RAMS MAKE IT TO NUMBER ONE

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles lost a make up game at number one Lovell last night 59-55 they fall to 10-5 on the season and still 3-1 in conference play the Eagles sit at 10-5 and 3-1 as well.

This week they play road games at Sundance Friday the Eagles are back at home to play Rocky Mountain Saturday while the Lady Eagles play Rocky in Byron.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams are 17-0 and finally made it to the number one ranking in class 2-A with Lovell losing at Wyoming Indian last weekend.

SHS FRESHMEN HOOPS RE-SCHEDULED

Gillette is not in school today(Tuesday), so Sheridan high school had to reschedule their Frosh basketball games with Sage Valley.

The games will be played next Tuesday February 8th.

Boys will play at Sage, B at 4 and A at 5:30pm while the girls will play here, B at 4:30 and A at 6 pm.

IT'S ANOTHER BIG WEEK OF LOCAL SPORTS ACTION

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs are 15-0 and 3-0 in conference play they host games with the Cheyenne schools Friday and Saturday.

Game times have changed the JV's will play Friday evening at 5:00 with the varsity game at 6:45. On Saturday the JV's go at 10:00 and the varsity at 11:45.

Lady Broncs Head coach Derek bissitt says victories like the one they had in Gillette draw teams closer together. And he says the have many big conference games coming up over the next several weeks.
