SC Outdoor club hosting a film and gear swap

the Outdoors Program at Sheridan College you may want to participate in:

Friday @ 7:00pm we are hosting the film “Valley Uprising” which is presented by the Petzl Reel Rock film tour which happens annually. It is a very cool film which touches on the culture of Climbing and the revolution which took place in the 1960’s in Yosemite Valley, CA.

It is FREE for students with college ID, and $5 for general public. This will take place at the Whitney Presentation hall on Sheridan College’s Campus

Lady Broncs prepare for state volleyball / Generals go to 3-0 / Football playoff semi finals Saturday for the Broncs and Rams

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs and Big Horn Lady Rams are both up Thursday night in their brackets at the state volleyball tournament in Casper both matches are scheduled for at 6:00 the Lady Rams will open the 2-A tournament with Wind River, in the 4-A bracket the Lady Broncs take on Green River.

The Lady Broncs made an impressive run in their regional tournament winning the title Saturday and picking up a number one seed for the state championships, Head coach Maureen McEwen says the girls played well and got on a roll.

Lady Bronc swimming season recap / State volleyball begins Thursday / Pokes Football Friday / High school playoffs Saturday

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 5th at the state championships, Head coach Brent Moore says it was an outstanding performance from the team.

Pippin Robison and Sol Montero both all stated in their events the 200 free and the 100 back and Moore says it was not only a great state meet but also a great season overall.

Broncs / Rams football semi finals Saturday / Wyoming plays USU Friday night / State volleyball opens Thursday

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS - The high school football playoffs got underway Friday, the Tongue River Eagles lost at Cokeville 55-0 the Eagles end the season with a 5-4 record.

The defending state 2-A champs big horn held off Lovell 23-12 and move on to play Wheatland in the semi finals Saturday kickoff will be at 2:00.

The Sheridan Broncs got away from the Cheyenne Central Indians in the 4th quarter to post a 28-7 victory and advance to the semi finals Saturday, Head coach Don Julian.

Broncs / Rams Advance in the football playoffs / regional volleyball continues / Lady Bronc swimmers 5th at state / Wyoming at Fresno state in college football tonight

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS - The high school football playoffs got underway Friday, the Tongue River Eagles lost at Cokeville 55-0 the Eagles end the season with a 5-4 record.

The defending state 2-A champs Big Horn held off Lovell 23-12 and move on to play Wheatland in the semi finals Saturday.

The Sheridan Broncs got away from the Cheyenne Central Indians in the 4th quarter to post a 28-7 victory and advance to the semi finals next Saturday at Natrona county.

Gillette will play Cheyenne East in the other 4-A semi final.

STATE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS BEGIN - The high school football playoffs start today and we have a live triple header for you, we will start with the Tongue River Eagles at Cokeville kickoff this afternoon is schedule for 1:00 you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO.

The defending state 2-A champs Big Horn begin defense of that title tonight against Lovell kickoff in Big Horn is at 6:00 the game can be heard live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio, Shane Parker will handle the play by play.
