2014 WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo is over final results from each event can be seen on the sports page at which includes event payouts as well.

LOCAL BAREBACK RIDER RIDES THE WYO - Former Sheridan high school football player and wrestler Devan Reilly was the first bareback rider out of the chutes Saturday night, Reilly was a member of the last Bronc state championship in football back in 2011 and last month placed 6th in the CNFR bareback riding.

Rodeo weekend begins / Troopers host alumni game Saturday / Rockies ready for the All-Star break

WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo heads into day three, slack timed events start at 9:00 the WYO rodeo carnival opens at 5:00 and the 3rd performance of the WYO starts promptly at 7:00.

Slack timed events run today and tomorrow starting at 9:00 and admission is free.

Rodeo week concludes Sunday with polo and other events at the Big Horn Equestrian Center starting at 1:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have their alumni game tomorrow all the fun starts at 1:00 at Thorne-Rider stadium.

2014 Sheridan Bronc youth and high school football camp next week

The SHS football staff with be hosting our 8th annual Bronc and Young Bronc football mini-camp next week July 16-18th. The Young Bronc camp will be held from 5-6 pm each evening at Homer Scott Field.

Registration is $10 and will be done at the field before the first session. Each camper must have proof of insurance and will receive a Young Bronc tee shirt.

Fundamental drill work will be taught by the SHS staff. The Young Bronc camp is open for grades K-8.

WYO Rodeo heads into day two / Trooper baseball Monday / SHS booster golf is Sunday / Rockies win two straight

WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo heads into day two, slack timed events start at 9:00 the WYO rodeo carnival opens at 5:00 and the 2nd performance of the WYO starts promptly at 7:00.

Slack timed events will run each day through Saturday starting at 9:00 and admission is free.

If your going to the performance tonight look for something new added to this year's line-up WYO rodeo board President Zane Garstad.

Troopers / Jets baseball / WYO Rodeo starts tonight / NHSFR begins in Rock Springs this weekend

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are off until they play at home a Monday against Laramie that is scheduled as a single nine inning game at noon. That will be our next live broadcast we will have it live for you next Monday afternoon on 14-10 KWYO.

Even though they are not playing this week Head coach Ben Phillips says that doesn't mean they won't be busy.

WYO Rodeo week highlights / SHS Booster club golf tourney Sunday / Troopers off til Monday

WYO RODEO WEEK - 2014 Sheridan WYO rodeo week is underway the boot kickoff is tonight in Kendrick park the event starts at 4:00 with the first of the four performances of the rodeo tomorrow night at 7:00.

We've heard from WYO rodeo committee President Zane Garstad this week and today he talks first about how WYO rodeo week has turned into such a great Sheridan county tradition.
