GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play last night with games against Little Big Horn community college

The Lady Generals had their struggles early but were able to pull away in the second half for the 77-45 victory. Sophomore Fallon Lewis says they had a tough night but got it together for the win.

The Lady Generals are now 10-2 on the season as Lewis talks about how the first dozen games have gone.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS LIVE TONIGHT IN THE HOFFMAN DOME

LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play tonight. The Lady Generals are 9-2 the Generals are 11-0 both teams have already won games against Little Big Horn this season but tonight's games are big because they are conference games.

At 9-2 Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy says they are in a good place right now.

Since losing point guard Jasmine Davis to a season ending knee injury the team has been able to move on and play pretty well.

Jo Co High School Athletes Competing This Weekend

Johnson County high school athletes will be competing in week two of the basketball and wrestling seasons and the Bison boys' swimmers will get their season started this week.
The Bison boys' basketball team (2-1) will be hosting the Newcastle Dogies on Friday with games scheduled at 4, 5:30 and 7; and will be on the road at Worland on Saturday for games at 11, 12:30 and 4.
The Lady Bison will be at Newcastle Friday and at Worland on Saturday. Game times Friday are at 4, 5:30 and 7, Saturday games will be at 11, 12:30 and 2.

December 6th

BRONC SWIMMERS OPEN THIS WEEK / SC HOOPS WEDNESDAY NIGHT

BRONC SWIMMING - The news wasn't too good for the Bronc swimming and diving program when practice for the new season started a week ago.

Only three swimmers showed up for the first day this week the outlook isn't as bleak but it's not great either a few more swimmers have come out first year Head coach Brent Moore.

And he says the guys in the pool right now are putting in the hard work to be ready to start the season Saturday.

HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS OPENING WEEKEND RESULTS

The Bronc's Scott Brown scores against Green River

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams swept four victories on the opening weekend of the basketball season. they both had no problem with Green River Friday but Saturday's games were much better.

The Lady Broncs got by Billings Senior 43-40 at home the Broncs took out Billings Senior with a late surge to win 63-55.

Head coach Mike Ibach says it was exactly what they needed to see a tough physical opponent.

Buffalo, Kaycee Athletes Open Winter Seasons Strong

The Buffalo and Kaycee boys' and girls' basketball teams were in action this weekend and played well for opening weekend.
Buffalo Boys were in Cody for the East/West Tournament and came away with a 2-1 record for their efforts.
The Bison opened with a tough 53-43 loss to Lander Friday, but bounced back on Saturday with wins over Jackson 45-32, and Cody 44-34.
The Lady Bison hosted the girls' East/West Tournament at BHS, and they also came away with a 2-1 record for the weekend.
Buffalo downed Pinedale 30-28 and beat Jackson 42-34 before dropping their game with Cody 41-28.

December 4th

WYOMING GOES BACK THE THE NEW MEXICO BOWL

The 8-4 Wyoming Cowboys will face Temple in the New Mexico Bowl December 17th at 2:00.

The pokes beat Fresno state in their last Bowl appearance two years ago in this game.

December 3rd

Local Basketball Scores

The Sheridan Broncs beat Billings Senior 63 to 55. The Lady Broncs beat Billings Senior 43 to 40 and the Sheridan College Generals beat Eastern Wyoming College 82 to 59. Wyoming 66, Bradley 49. Pokes are 8-1.
Wyoming Cowgirls lost to Montana Lady Griz 69 - 59. Former Sheridan Lady Bronc, Kayla Woodward had 12 points on the night for the Cowgirls.
